по английскому языку (учебник В.П. Кузовлев, для 8 кл.)

«The value of sport»

Тип урока – повторительно-обобщающий урок .

Продолжительность урока: 45 мин.

Цель: систематизировать и обобщить знания учащихся по теме «The value of sport»

Задачи:

Образовательные:

• способствовать развитию практического владения языком;

• создать условия для формирования навыков чтения;

• обобщение лексического материала по теме "Sport",

• развитие навыков говорения, аудирования (просмотр видео).

• знакомство с историей Олимпийских игр и чемпионата мира по футболу 2018г.

Развивающие:

• способствовать развитию воображения, речевой догадки, коммуникативных способностей;

• развивать память и способности к распределению внимания;

• развитие коммуникативных навыков по теме "The value of sport",

• развитие творческих способностей учащихся,

• развитие памяти, внимания и мышления,

• расширять знания детей о значимости спорта в жизни человека,

• повышение интереса к спорту

• развитие умения обобщать и делать выводы.

Воспитательные:

• воспитывать культуру общения;

• понимать чужую точку зрения, выражать своё мнение;

• воспитание интереса к изучению английского языка;

• воспитывать чувство гордости за достижения спортсменов своей страны,

• воспитание умения работать в сотрудничестве.

Межпредметная связь: английский язык – физкультура.

Виды речевой деятельности: чтение, говорение, аудирование;

Оснащение урока:

• интерактивная доска – презентация, название спортивных игр, видеофрагменты;

• дидактический материал (печатный текст с заданиями);

• ноутбук, аудиозапись песни «My best summer»

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

Цель: введение учащихся в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you.

T: How are you? P: We are fine,thanks.

T: I think, you are in a good mood! Good morning, dear colleagues! Welcome to our lesson! Today our lesson is devoted to sport and its importance for people. Sport is an important part of our life. Millions of people all over the world go in for sports. People in our country are sport – lovers, too. Many sports are popular in Russia and in Kazakhstan, such as ice – hockey, track and field, weightlifting, boxing, football, swimming, tennis, figure – skating, shooting and many others. Sporting activities are a part of daily life in our countries. So, the theme of our lesson “The value of sport”. (см. слайд 1)

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Цель: повторить название спортивных игр, отработать произношение сложных слов, настроить учащихся на положительную мотивацию к уроку.

T. I am sure that you know very many kinds of sport. Now let us remember some of them. Look at the screen! (см. слайд 2)

3. Речевая зарядка.

Цель: введение учащихся в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

T: I made up some cards with surprise. Word and word combinations connected with sport. You must read then translate into Russian language.

4. Well, pupils please try to make up the aim and the tasks of the lesson. Цель: Совместное формулирование целей, сообщение темы урока и его задач. T.What will you do at the lesson? P. – Discussing the main theme. – Reading some new information. – Doing some exercises. – We will practice listening, reading and speaking. T. The aim of the lesson: To know more about the values of sport.

5. T. The next task of our lesson will be the checking up the homework. Reports about favourite sportsman or sportswoman, which have you prepared today’s lesson.

6. Dynamic – pause: We are tired. Let’s have a rest. Close your eyes. Sleep. You are on the green grass. There are so many beautiful flowers: pink, blue, yellow, red, violet… such beautiful butterflies are flying near. Birds are singing. Wind is warm and pleasant. Sun is shining. But you have to work. Wake up, children. Let’s sing a song “My best summer”.

7. Some people like sports and think it brings them a lot of good. Other people think it is harmful. So some people for active sports while others are against it. Open your books p. 128 ex. 2. Read the task and answer the question. Next task of this exercise find out pros and cons of sport.

8. T. You know that all games can be divided into two groups: summer and winter games. The best players go to the different championships, for example: Asian, European, World championships and Olympic Games. The Olympics have a very long history. They began and took place at Olympia, Greece. The International Olympic Committee was set up in 1894, and the first of the modern series of the games took place in Athens two years later, in 1896. There were competitions in many kinds of sports: running, jumping, boxing and etc. Nowadays, The International Olympic Committee decides where each Olympics will take place. They ask a country to be the host. Скажите в России проводились олимпийские игры? Когда?

P. The Summer Olympic Games in Moscow were held in 1980.

P. The Winter Olympic Games in Sochi were held in 2014.

T. Nowadays, not only Olympic games are popular and Paralympic games for disabled people popular, too.

9. T. What’s this? (показываю мяч). Yes, you are right. It’s a ball. Can you name the sports games with the word “ball”. Учащиеся называют спортивные игры со словом “ball”.

P. – baseball, - netball, - softball,

P. – volleyball, - basketball,

P. – football, - handball, - motorball.

T. Listen to me and repeat after me. All together. Слова которые на слайде.

(см. слайд 3)

Now finish my sentence, please. All in all I like to play basketball. (Учащиеся произносят фразу и добавляет слово из списка, следующий уч-ся повтор. произнесенную фразу и добав.свое слово и тд. А, последний уч-ся повтор. фразу со всеми словами.)

10. T. Well, pupils. What kinds of sports are popular in Russia? For example: cycling, judo, football, ice – skating, chess, boxing… There are a lot of different sports are very popular in Russia. One of them is football. 5 million people go in for it and each town has its own football team. Просмотр видеофрагментов: Заявка на ЧМ по футболу – 2018г. (см. приложение 1)

T. I think that the emblem shall represent heart and soul of the country. Официальная эмблема (см. приложение 3) ЧМ по футболу 2018г.в России (связь с МКС).

11. Homework: Объяснение домашнего задания. Your homework will be connected with sport. Ex.1,2 p. 139 SB. You’ll read the text and find out the sentences with the most popular sports in Russia.

12. The conclusion of the lesson. Подведение итогов урока.
