Цели -

учебная – актуализация лингво-страноведческого и социо-культурного аспектов изучаемого языка, ознакомление с новым фактическим материалом;

развивающая - развитие межпредметных связей, памяти, догадки, интереса к языку и стране изучаемого языка

воспитательная - воспитание чувства коллективизма и уважения к иноязычной культуре

Оборудование- компьютер, проектор, проекционный экран, раздаточные карточки для подсчета баллов

Ход мероприятия

1.Вступительное слово учителя.

Наше мероприятие посвящено неделе английского языка, которая проходит каждый год в нашей школе. Все, кто собрались здесь, учат английский язык не первый год и имеют определенные знания не только о лексике, грамматике, фонетике языка, но и о различных исторических событиях, географии, культурной и повседневной жизни британцев. Цель нашей викторины в интересной игровой форме проверить свои знания и определить пятерку лучших игроков.

Викторина содержит 40 вопросов по 10 в каждом разделе, соответственно посвященных географии, истории, традициям и обычаям Великобритании.

Правила игры

Четыре команды по 5 игроков в каждой занимают места в соответствии с полученными номерами(1-5).Каждый участник прикрепляет эмблему с номером. Игра начинается с участника под № 1 команды №1, которому дается право ответить на первый вопрос. Вопрос с выбором из трех ответом проектируется на экран и читается ведущим. Если участник ответил верно, он получает зеленую карточку, которая стоит 2 балла. Если ответ был неверным, команда получает еще один шанс ответить, если на этот раз ответ был верным, то они получают желтую карточку, которая стоит 1 балл. В случае неверного ответа, правильный ответ очевиден и демонстрируется на экране. Дальше ход переходит к участнику под №1 2-й команды и т.д. пока не будут исчерпаны все вопросы викторины. (Нужно составить команды так, чтобы каждый получил равное количество вопросов).

По окончании игры помощники собирают карточки у каждой команды, подсчитывают очки и определяют команду-победителя. Можно также выбрать победителя в личном зачете.
