The aim of the lesson

• Educational:pupils will learn British holidays and its celebrations.
• Developing: pupils will learn the new words and enrich reading ,writng and speaking .
• Upbringing: pupils will encourage grammar, lexics ,phonetics.

New Years Day is celebrated on the 1 st of January.New Years Day is not very popular.

Halloween is celebrated on the 31 st of October.They say ghosts and witchescome out on Halloween.Children make lanterns out of pumpkins.

Saint Valentines Day is celebrated on the 14 th of February .People decorate rooms with big roses and give chocolate to sweet hearts,friends and family.

Easter is celebrated in April.At Easter people go to the church and wear new clothes.

Christmas Day is celebrated on the 25 th of December.Christmas Day is favourite family holiday.Children decorate Christmas tree with toys ,balls and lights.
