Ход урока.

  1. Организационный момент. Приветствие и сообщение целей урока.

Good morning, dear children. Let me introduce myself. My name’s Evgeniya Vasil’evna . Today I will be your teacher of English. How are you today? I’m fine, thanks.

You look fantastic today. Be active. For each correct answer you get “+”. Please, don’t forget the following:

Speak English

Don’t make noise

Listen to your teacher and friends attentively

Look here and try to guess what’s the theme of our lesson.

Come out and write it on the board. Well, the theme of our lesson is “Clothes” and we are going to talk about clothes and school uniform.

  1. Фонетическая зарядка.

Before we start our lesson let’s read new rhyme. Look at the board and listen to me.

And now repeat after me all together.

My zipper suit is bunny-brown,

The top zips up, the legs zip down.

I wear it every day.

My daddy brought it out from town.

Zip it up, and zip it down,

And hurry out to play!

Now read on by one.

We have known the new rhyme. And now let’s repeat the names of clothes, which can help you to describe clothes which you are wearing.

Look at the board. Repeat all these words all together.

Let’s play the game “Rhymes”. I pronounce a word and you should say the word means “clothes”.

Beans –jeans

Better – sweater

Bird – shirt, T-shirt, skirt

Mouse - blouse

Choose –shoes

Loves – gloves

Rat –hat

Less – dress

Fruits – boots

Sports – shorts

Kittens – mittens

Racket – jacket

Cute –suit

Thanks for your answers. But I have the last question which is connected with our theme.

What do you usually wear to school?

We don’t have a school uniform. But students in different countries wear it. Please, look at these slides.

Today you have a chance to make something interesting. You can design your own school uniform for boys and girls. I want you to form 2 groups. So, you are the 1st group and you are the 2nd group. You need leaders. Look under your chairs please. Have you got anything unusual there? Congratulate! You are the leaders! You will control the work in your group.

There will be 2 works: an ideal school uniform and clothes which you can’t wear to school. Take the card to choose you work. Great!

Take a list of paper and pictures with clothes and begin your projects. Don’t forget about the time! You’ll have only 2 minutes to fulfil this task.

Now, please, present what do you have with the help of these phrases.

Let’s have some fun. Look at this card. You should match the words to the pictures and find the words. Which of the groups will be quicker?

The next game is “My favourite clothes”. We need three groups for this game. These cards will help us to be divided into groups. Each group will receive a paper with this game and a dice. Roll a dice. Circle one picture on each line: A, B, C, D and E.

For example, if you roll ‘1’ circle picture 1A. If you roll ‘2’ circle picture 2A. Roll the dice again and continue with B, C, D and E.

Then you should complete the sentences with the words from the pictures you ticked. And also you’ll have to draw everything you ticked. Take these papers and pencils. There are some words which are new for you. You can use this slide to understand their meaning.

Show us your paintings. Read what you have.

I have a rather funny song. It’s “The clothing song”. Let’s try to sing it all together.
