• Достопримечательность – это место или объект, заслуживающие особого внимания.

Биг Бен

• Это стометровая часовая башня с 6 колоколами и знаменитыми часами;
• Второе название башни – башня Елизаветы.

Здание Парламента

• В здании Парламента работает Правительство Великобритании;
• Парламент состоит из двух Палат: Палата Общин и Палата Лордов.

Букингемский дворец

• Букингемский дворец – это официальная резиденция королевы Елизаветы II;
• Дворец – это символ королевской монархии.

Лондонский Тауэр

• Это старейшая крепость на берегу Темзы;
• Тауэр – это хранилище королевских драгоценностей.

Вестминстерское Аббатство

• Это самая главная религиозная святыня Англии;
