Who is Mark Twain

• Mark Twain, whose real name was Samuel Longhorn Clemens, was an American writer and humorist, best known for his novels The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. He was born in Missouri in 1835 and grew up in Hannibal, which served as the inspiration for many of his works. His satirical humor and insightful observations of human nature made him one of the most popular and influential writers of his time.
