Newspapers are divided into 2 types by publication: - daily newspapers; - Sunday newspapers
Newspapers are divided into 2 types by information: - serious/quality newspapers; - tabloids
- National newspapers express a political opinion. Local newspapers contain a lot of advertisements, news and information about films, concerts, other things that are happening in the local area.
- Daily newspapers are published on every day of the week except Sunday. Sunday newspapers are published only on Sunday. Besides, they are larger than daily newspapers.
- Quality/serious newspapers have many detailed articles about national and international events. Tabloids are smaller in size, have more pictures and shorter articles about less important events or about private lives of well-known people.
