Класс: VII класс, IV четверть, апрель

Тема: Путешествие в Австралию (Travelling to Australia). Говорение.

Тип урока: комбинированный, с использованием информационно-коммуникативных технологий.

Оборудование: ноутбук, колонки, проектор, учебный кабинет с доступом в интернет (программа Skype), англоязычная карта мира, раздаточный материал (карточки с диалогом, карточки с вопросами и ответами об Австралии и достопримечательностями Австралии), шляпки «Незнайки», шляпки «Знайки».

Цель урока: формирование у учащихся коммуникативной компетенции на материале темы «Путешествие в Австралию».

Образовательная цель: формирование речевой и учебно-познавательной компетенции учащихся.

Развивающая цель: развитие и углубление знаний по страноведению; развитие памяти, мышления, воображения; развитие слухо-произносительных навыков.

Воспитательная цель: формирование положительных эмоций у учащихся, чувства успеха, уважения к культуре и народу изучаемой страны.

Прогнозируемый результат: к концу урока учащиеся будут хорошо владеть информацией об Австралии; смогут построить аналогическое высказывание об Австралии на английском языке; научатся правильно употреблять артикль с географическими названиями и активную лексику урока.

Australia has been called "the land of differences" and "the continent of contrasts". There are many strange native animals in Australia such as the emu, the koala, the dingo, the kangaroo, the duck-bill.

The Sydney Opera House is a great architectural work of the 20th century. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. It was included in the National Heritage List in 2005.
