Мероприятие по английскому языку «I know everything».
Цель мероприятия: развивать неподготовленную речь, обобщить знания, полученные на уроках английского языка.
Задачи:
Образовательные: совершенствование лексических, грамматических и разговорных навыков; закрепить знания по страноведению.
Развивающие: развитие творческих способностей и коммуникативных навыков, умения работать в группе. в коллективе и принимать совместное решение; развивать положительные личностные качества; повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка
Воспитательные: формирование уважительного отношение к культуре и традициям стран изучаемого языка.
Оформление:
На доске название игры «I know everything», флаги англоязычных стран, карта Великобритании и Северной Ирландии, правила игры, квадрат с цифрам, перечень конкурсов.
Ход мероприятия.
I. Орг. момент. Приветствие ведущего.
Teacher1: Good afternoon! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called " I know everything”. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest.
Teacher2: It’s time for the game and I wish all of you good luck! But first I have some questions: Did you divide yourselves into teams? Excellent! Did you choose the leader of your team? Very good! What are the names of your teams? Introduce yourselves, please.
Who is the captain of the 1st team?
Р1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is "Stars”.
Teacher 1: Who is the captain of the 2nd team?
P2: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is "Space”. (Состав команд, их названия определяются заранее).
Teacher2: Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The members of our jury are your teachers.
Now I’m going to teach you how to play this game.
II. Разминка. Веселый английский
(Команды по очереди называют английское слово).
Teacher1:Учу английские слова, беру я лишь разбег.
Я слово первое узнал: портфель и сумка – BAG.
Teacher2:Ученик к доске идёт, классная доска – BLACK-BOARD.
Teacher1:Вижу в классе много рук! Книга по-английски –BOOK.
Teacher2:Мальчик наш – лихой ковбой, мальчик по-английски – BOY.
Teacher1:Да, запомнить я сумею: стул мы называем – CHAIR.
Teacher2:Я приводил пример и замер: всё вдруг забыл…пример – EXAMPLE.
Teacher1:На окне цветок расцвёл, поливала его – GIRL.
Teacher2:Пришло письмо от Светы. Письмо и буква – LETTER.
Teacher1:Хоть и мало ему лет, знает он, что карта- MAP.
Teacher2:Послание, записку мы ждём уж целый месяц.
Послание, записка по-английски – MESSAGE.
Teacher1:Игра" Счастливый случай", идёт последний сейм.
Имя и фамилия по-английски - NAME.
Teacher2:По-английски каждый день ручку называем PEN.
Teacher1:Клоун наш Карандаш. Он умён и весел.
В Англии Карандаша называют – PENCIL.
Teacher2:Вопрос вполне уместен. Вопрос иначе - QUESTION.
Teacher1:Линейку я тебе вернула. Линейка по-английски – RULER.
Teacher2:В школе я вчера заснул. Школа по-английски - SCHOOL.
Teacher1:Вчера купила мама мне точилку, значит – SHARPENER.
Teacher2:Унывать совсем не будет, он студент английский - STUDENT.
Teacher1:Тише, дети, не кричите: в класс заходит – ENGLISH TEACHER.
Teacher2:Узнаешь из названия, о чём будешь читать.
Заглавие, название, по-английски -TITLE.
Teacher1:Скажу лишь слово- он поймёт. А слово по-английски – WORD.
III Task. And now we come to the 1st contest of the game. You must put the letters in the right order, so as to get the name of the English-speaking country. You have 1 minute at your disposal. Each team can get 5 points.
