Task 3. Imagine that while travelling during your holidays you took some photos. Choose one photo to present to your friend.

You will have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes. In your talk remember to speak about:

• when you took the photo

• what/who is in the photo

• what is happening

• why you took the photo

• why you decided to show the picture to your friend

• You have to talk continuously , starting with:

I’ve chosen photo number … .

I’ve chosen photo number 1 because it’s the best photo in my album.

I took the picture this spring when I was travelling in France with my sister. The weather was fine. We enjoyed quiet and relaxed atmosphere, wonderful views of mountains, forests, different kinds of trees and plants and fresh air.

In the foreground of the picture you can see my sister who is resting, and behind her there is a wonderful view of mountains. She looks happy and it is true.

It was the last day of our holiday. The last hours of our happiness in France! The day was amazing. The sun was shining brightly. The weather was warm enough. So, we went for a walk to visit our favorite place. We were having some fun, joking and taking photos. That`s one of them. It shows us Irine, who is resting, sitting on the sailing and smiling. She is having a great time.

I like travelling and can`t imaging my life without it. I’ve always had my camera with me, so I wanted to stop the time. Later, perhaps years later, I will be reminded by the photos of the happy time I had.

I’ve decided to show this photo to you because I want you to know that travelling is interesting. You can discover new plaices, things and different ways of life, meet different people. And I am sure that one day you will discover your own place, where you will find out yourself and will be happy.

That’s all I wanted to tell you about the best photo in my album.
