My Favorite Spots in Moscow
Everyone has a special plaсe, somewhere they have happy memories of. Well, for me it’s Moscow, Russia.
Red Square
RED SQUARE - the heart of Moscow.
Here you can see the Lenin Mausoleum, the monument to Minin and Pozharskiy, the Lobnoye Place (tsar’s orders were announced from it).
ST. BASIL `S CATHEDRAL
St. Basil's Cathedral is one of the most outstanding monuments of old Russian architecture.
It is a Russian Orthodox church erected on the Red Square in Moscow in 1555–1561. It was built on the order of Ivan the Terrible to commemorate the capture of Kazan and Astrakhan. It was the tallest building in Moscow until the completion of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower in 1600.

For many years this exhibition center presented various products and innovations brought from every republic of the USSR.
Tretyakov Gallery
This gallery was founded by a Russian merchant Pavel Tretyakov in 1856. It has a large collection of wonderful works of art.
THE VOROBYOVI HILLS CABELWAY
It’s one of the most picturesque places of Moscow on the right bank of the Moscow River in the south-east which connects the observation deck on the top with the Luzhniki stadium over the Moscow river .
MOSCOW ZOO
This is one of the oldest zoos in Europe and it’s also the fourth largest zoo in Russia. It was founded in 1984 and it quickly became one of the most popular tourist attractions in Moscow.
ZARYADYE PARK
It is one of the newest attractions in Moscow. The main place of interest is the ‘hovering’ bridge that was erected above the Moscow River and provides some memorable and picturesque views of the capital. Come here in the evening to enjoy the spectacular nighttime panoramas of Moscow overlooking the river as well as the stunning Cathedral of Christ the Savior .

OSTANKINO TV TOWER
TV Tower Ostankino is the tallest tower in Europe and the 4th tallest building in the world. It was built in Moscow in 1967. Besides technical services there is a sightseeing platform and a three-level restaurant - the Seventh Sky.
Bolshoi Theatre is one of the largest theatres in Russia and one of the most significant opera and ballet theaters in the world.
In 1824 it was the second biggest theatre in the world. The Bolshoi Ballet and Bolshoi Opera are among the oldest and most renowned ballet and opera companies in the world. The company of the Bolshoi Ballet Academy is a world-leading school of ballet.
