(6 класс, форма урока «Звездный час»)

Темаурока: «Animalsinourlife» (УМКМ. З. Биболетоваидр. «EnjoyEnglish» 5-6 классы – М. Просвещение).

Тип урока: обобщающий, нетрадиционный.

Форма урока: урок-конкурс «Звездный час».

Цель: активизация и совершенствование навыков аудирования, устной речи, чтения и письма по данной теме.

Задачи урока: 1. Образовательные:

а) закрепление лексико-грамматических навыков по ранее изученной теме;

б) развитие навыков чтения с различной стратегией;

в) развитие монологической и диалогической речи.

2. Развивающие:

а) развитие логического мышления, внимания, памяти, самостоятельности;

б) формирование иноязычных речевых механизмов: слухового и зрительного восприятия;

в) развитие индивидуальных учебных способностей.

3. Воспитательные:

а) поддержание интереса и формирование познавательной активности;

б) воспитание культуры общения;

в) воспитание бережного отношения к животному миру.

Оборудование: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, раздаточный материал по теме, тематические кроссворды, карточки с заданиями.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока (организационный момент).

• I'm Galina Petrovna and today I will be your teacher of English. Today we have a lot of work to do, but I hope you will do all your best during the lesson.

• But first of all let's look at the screen. Do you see the words? Can you read them?(animals, life, our, in) – слайд 1. Make up the sentence and it will be the topic of our lesson. Время для раздумий.

• Ok! We'll speak about animals.

• But today we have a special lesson. It's a competition – lesson «The Star Hour». Everybody will have possibility to be a winner. Be very attentive and try to do everything. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and you will enjoy it.

- And now let's start our competition. Listen to the plan of our competition. Well divide into 2 teams. «Cats» and «Foxes». The best team will be the winner of our game.

On the screen you see a list of animals. Your task is to divide all words into 3 groups. You have 2 minutes.

Команда получает по конверту с набором английских пословиц и переводом на отдельных карточках. Задача – как можно быстрее соотнести пословицу с переводом. Закаждоеверноерешение 1 балл.

V.Конкурс 5. «Актер»

Children, I know you like animals and like to watch them. Now you can tell us about your favorite wild or domestic animal. But you can’t use your tongue to do it. You will show us the animal using your body.

Ученики из команд-соперниц по очереди должны изобразить какое-нибудь животное, изображая его повадки, походку или движения. Задача другой команды - «узнать» животное. За каждого угаданного героя команда получает звезду.

VI. It's time to make up the stories about your pets. Look at the screen, please. You can see some questions there. Let's read them all stories about pets. You will go to the black board and tell us about your pets.

• What can your pet do?

• What characteristics of your pet can you name ?

• Who looks after your pet?
