One stair up analysis

Rosa lives in her own inner world. “it pleased her to be seen in the dress circle, even with Andrew”. The detachment “even with Andrew” shows us that she doesn’t enjoy his company. Finally, her attitude to him is seen in her thoughts: she supposed him to be stupid “just a big hulking kid” and looked at him with contempt.

Andrew`s attitude is controversial. He cares for her. It is seen in the fragment when they settled in their chairs preparing for watching. And he asked her “You see alright?”.
