Тема урока: “Day after day”

Цели урока:

1. Обучающие:

- совершенствовать навыки употребления в речи грамматического времени Present Simple;

- совершенствовать навыки употребления в речи лексических единиц по теме;

2. Развиваюшие:

- развивать умения монологической и диалогической речи (диалог-расспрос);

- развивать умения делать заметки в ходе интервью, строить графики и использовать их в качестве опоры при монологическом высказывании;

- развивать умения аудирования;

1. Воспитательные:

- воспитывать умение сотрудничать и работать в группе.

Ход урока:

1. Речевая зарядка

• Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you.

• How are you today?

- How do you feel at the beginning of the week?

• Are you happy to see your friends and teachers?

• Did you have a good time at the weekend?

1. Ознакомление с темой урока и задачами урока:

• Today we are going to work in groups. We’ll have a talk about your daily routine and your free time. We’ll continue practicing the use of Present Simple. You’ll carry out the survey about your favourite TV programmes, make graphs to show the results of your survey and present it to the class. You’ll tell us about your favourite day. And we’ll practice in listening.

3. Повторение изученной лексики по теме:

• Now I want two pupils from each group to go to the blackboard and complete the spidergram. (Ученики записывают слова и выражения к каждой части дня. За каждое правильное слово или выражение ученики получают фишку).

1. Cоставление рассказов о рабочем дне из предложений :

• Put the sentences in the correct order to make up a story about the first/second part of your working day and read your stories to the class. (Остальные участники группы составляют из предложений, написанных на отдельных листочках, рассказы и читают их. За логически правильно составленный рассказ каждая группа получает 6 фишек, за каждую ошибку снимается одно очко).

1 группа: 2 группа:

I get up at eight o’clock. School starts at twelve o’clock.

I brush my teeth. I usually have six lessons.

I have breakfast at nine o’clock. I come home from school at six o’clock.

I do my homework. I have dinner at seven o’clock.

I have lunch at eleven o’clock. I watch TV and play computer games.

I get dressed and go to school. I go to bed at ten o’clock.

5. Беседа о рабочем дне в форме соревнования между группами:

- Now let’s have a competition. In turn ask each other questions about your working day and answer them. (Учащиеся по очереди задают вопросы другой группе. За каждый правильный вопрос и ответ группа получает фишку).

6. Беседа о любимых телепередачах и проведение опроса в группах.

- What do you like doing in your free time?

- What TV programmes do you like watching?

- Let’s carry out a group survey about your favourite TV programmes. Write down the results of your survey into these charts and make graphs to show your results. Then be ready to present the results to us. (Учащиеся проводят опрос всех членов группы, заносят ответы в таблицу:

Учащиеся рассказывают классу о телевизионных предпочтениях своей группы. За работу учащиеся получают максимально 10 баллов.)

1. Проверка домашнего задания.

• Your home task was to write a story for your portfolio about your perfect day. Let’s listen to your stories. (Учащиеся рассказывают о своих любимых днях недели с демонстрацией иллюстраций или презентаций).

1. Беседа о жизни подростков в Англии, прослушивание звукового письма от английской школьницы и контроль его понимания.

• What do you know about the life of schoolchildren in England?

• I’ve got a sound letter from the English schoolgirl. Listen attentively to the text and be ready to answer the questions and do the task. (Учащиеся читают вопросы) :

• What is the girl’s name?

• How old is the girl?

• What is her favourite day?

• Now listen to the text and answer the questions:

Hi ! My name is Jane Brown. I’m 12 yeas old and I live in London? England. I want to tell you about my life. My daily routine is typical of most students of my age. I get up at 7.30 and after a quick breakfast I walk to school. School starts at 8.30 and we usually have three lessons in the morning. At 12.30 we have a long break for lunch. I usually eat at the school canteen. In the afternoon we have Art, PE or Music. My favourite subjects are Maths and Science.

After school I go home and have a rest for a while. I listen to music or play computer games. Then I help my mother to cook dinner. After dinner I always do my homework and then read books or watch TV. At 10 o’clock I go to bed.

In my free time I play sports, surf the net and go out with my friends. My favourite day is Sunday because I often visit museums, parks and places of interest with my family.

I want to learn more about the life of teenagers in Russia. Please, write and tell me about your life. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

- Now listen to the text once more, then read the sentences and write if they are TRUE or FALSE (Учащиеся прослушивают текст еще раз, читают предложения на листочках и определят их правильность):

6. Jane usually eats at the school canteen.

1. Домашнее задание.

• In her letter Jane asks you to write her a letter and tell her about your life. So your home task is to write a letter to Jane.

1. Подведение итогов урока.

• At the beginning of the lesson I asked you how you feel. Now I want to see how you feel at the end of the lesson. If you liked the lesson and feel happy, stick the sun to the blackboard. If you feel sad and tired, stick the cloud to the blackboard. (Учащиеся выбирают нужную картинку и прикрепляют ее на доску).

- I see that the weather in our class is sunny and fine. I wish you good luck. Thank you for your work. The lesson is over. Good bye!
