Цель: Научить детей вести разговор о праздниках своей страны и стран изучaемого языка.

Задачи: Пополнить словарный запас учащихся.

Развить навыки говорения и чтения учащихся

Воспитать уважение к праздникам и традициям своей и чужой страны

Методы урока: Вопросы-ответы, верные и неверные утверждения,ИНСЕРТ

Тип урока: Освоение нового материала

Наглядности: таблицы, тексты, рисунок дерева

Межпредметная связь: русский язык, география

Ход урока:

I.Организационный момент

II. Ознакомить детей с темой и целью урока.

Our theme in our lesson is “Celebrating holidays”

Настрой на урок.

Снежный ком.

Первый ученик говорит свое имя и пожелание на сегодняшний урок. Следующий ученик должен повторить слово первого ученика и сказать свое. Третий ученик повторяет слова предыдущих двоих учеников и т.д. Например, 1 ученик: Меня зовут Саша, я желаю удачи в сегодняшнем уроке. 2 ученик: Саша желает удачи. Меня зовут Игорь, я желаю работать без ошибок и т.д.

Exercise 1 Read. Match the holidays and the information. (Дети должны сопоставить описание и тему праздника. Затем в таблицах указать то что они уже знали «!»,для них это новое «+», противоречит их знаниям «-«,о чем хотели бы узнать «?».)

a)People in Britain celebrate this holiday in January. Sometimes they have parties where guests dress up in costumes and cover their faces with masks. Next day people visit friends, relatives, neighbors. – January 1 – New Year Holiday

b) It’s a holiday for children in Britain. Children dressed in costumes knock on their neighbors ’doors and ask: “Do you want “trick” or “treat?”. Give them “a treat”, (money, sweets). They go away. – October 31 – Halloween.

c) People celebrate this holiday in March in Kazakhstan. People have “kozhe”, “baursak”, drink “kymyz” and “shubat”. Over 100 nationalities celebrate this holiday. They love it. – March 22 – Nauryz holiday.

d) People in many countries decorate Christmas trees and give each other presents. Children leave a long sock or stocking at the end of the bed on December 24. They think that Santa Claus usually come down the chimney during the night and brings them presents. The special food is a big turkey and Christmas pudding. – December 25 – Christmas day.

     Hands to the sides,                            Руки в стороны,

     Bend left, bend right                         Наклон влево, наклон вправо.  

     Hands to the shoulders                     Руки на плечи, круговые

                                                               движения вперед 4 раза, назад  

     1-2-3-4, back  1-2-3-4.                     4 раза.

Bonfire Night

Bonfire Night is on the fifth of November. It's a very interesting night for English children. On that evening they make bonfires and have fireworks. Some days before Bonfire Night they make the guy. They make him of sticks and straw and then put an old hat on his head and old gloves on the stick that are his hands. When the bonfire is ready children or their parents put the guy on the bonfire and then light it.
