Тема «After school»

Тип урока: комбинированный, направленный на закрепление лексических, грамматических и речевых навыков.

Цель: развитие навыков устной и письменной речи по теме “After school”

Задачи:

1. Образовательная: развивать навыки коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в монологической и диалогической речи; активизировать в речи активный лексический материал;

2. Развивающая: развивать навыки аудирования, чтение, говорения и письма; развитие грамматических навыков: построение разделительных вопросов;

3. Воспитательная: формирование устойчивой мотивации к изучению английского языка; развитие таких качеств как ответственность, дисциплинированность, собранность.

Формы работы обучающихся: индивидуальная, парная, фронтальная, групповая

Планируемые образовательные результаты:

Метапредметные: развитие коммуникативных способностей школьника; развитие познавательной, эмоциональной и волевой сфер школьника; формирование мотивации к изучению иностранного языка; усвоение общеучебных умений и универсальных познавательных действий.

Предметные: отвечать на вопросы по теме; поиск и выделение необходимой информации из прослушанных и прочитанных текстов

Личностные: формировать положительное отношение к фактам культуры других стран, развивать умение представлять свою культуру, воспитывать готовность к коллективному творчеству

Ход урока:

I Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you!

How are you today?

Sit down, please.

II Today at the lesson we’re going to speak, read, listen, write, ask and answer questions.

Look at the screen, describe the pictures and try to guess what the topic of our lesson is.

1)What pets have they got? (Jason has got a budgie, Mary has got a goldfish, Sam has got a puppy, Polly has got a guinea pig) Слайд 1

2)What can people collect? (coins, stamps, cards, badges) Слайд 2

3)Where can you go out (to the cinema, to the theatre, to the circus, to the museum) Слайд 3

When can we do all these things? In the morning? In the afternoon? In the evening?

- After school

So we’re going to speak about after school activities.

III Prepare your tongues and pronounce sound [b] Слайд 4

I’ll read a tongue twister, and you to repeat after me all together

A big black bug bit a big black dog on his big black nose!

Repeat the tongue twister 2 times all together. Ask 1 or 2 pupils to repeat the twister

Don’t forget to repeat it at home to improve your English.

IV You can see some stripes of paper in my hand. Choose a question, read it and say who will answer the question.

Have you got a pet? What is it?

Do you look after your pet well?

Have you got a dog or a guinea pig?

What do people usually collect?

Your collection of books is big, isn’t it?

Do you often go to the cinema or to the theatre?

You didn’t draw a picture yesterday, did you?

Who can you see in the circus?

V You have just answered different questions: general - give me, please an example (do you go home after school?), alternative - can you give me an example (do you like listening an opera or watching a ballet?), special: ask a special question (Where do you usually go in the evening?). But we know one more type of questions, what is it? (a tag question) Find an example of the tag-question.

1. Look at the screen, you can see an exercise, let’s do it all together orally.

2. You have a card with a quiz. First, sign your card, then make tag questions. You have 3 minutes to do this task.

Well, everybody is ready. Please, exchange your cards with your neighbours and check. The answers are on the screen. After checking, please, give a mark.

You give a “5” if there are no mistakes, or only 1 mistake

You give a “4” if there is 2-3 mistakes

You give a “3” if there are 4 mistakes

You give a “2” if there are 5 and more mistakes

So, Who has a “5”? Who has a “4”? Who has a “3”?

VI I see you are tired, let’s have a rest and do some morning exercises

“I can jump like a frog”

“I can swim like a goldfish”

“I can sing like a canary”

“I can dance like a chimp”

“I can walk like a bear”

VII Now we’re going to listen to the text about Ralf and his friends (N99). Open your text books at page 40, we’re going to do exercise 1.

Open your exercise books, write down the day and the date of our lesson, the word Classwork, page and exercise. Ready? Please, read the task. Now I’ll give you a minute to read the sentences. Write down the numbers of the sentences in a column.

Well, I hope everything is clear, let’s listen to the text. You will hear the text twice.

VIII Let’s play a guessing game. Sasha, have you got a hobby? Just answer yes or no! If you have one, please, come up to me. Ask questions to Sasha, try to guess his hobby. I’ll start.

IX Now open your work books at page 66 exercise 3. Read the dialogue and answer the questions after it.

X Well, I have lots of cards in the box, choose one card and find your companions to make a team for a project.

1 team (a rabbit, a canary, a hamster, a kitten) makes a project about keeping pets

2 team (a stamp, a coin, a badge, a card) makes a project about collecting things

3 team (a swimmer, a boxer, an athlete) makes a project about doing sport

XI So your hometask is to make a project about hobbies in groups.

XII What did you do at the lesson?
