Тренировать в правописании лексики по теме.
Закрепить употребление притяжательного падежа существительных.
Тренировать отвечать на специальные вопросы.

ХОД УРОКА
I. Начало урока. Организационный момент
Good afternoon, dear students! How are you? I`m glad to see you. Let`s begin our lesson. Could you tell me, please, what date is it today? What day of week is today? What is the weather like today?
II. Представление темы и задач урока
Today, we`re going to sum up all the information we`ve got at Unit 1. The topic of our lesson is My Family. Look at the board. Let`s read the expression. “The love of a family is the life`s greatest blessing”. How do you understand it?
III. Работа по правописанию лексики по теме “My family”
So, to help you to remember all the family words, you are going to do the first task. Before it, let me divide you into 3 teams: Team A, Team B, Team C.
Look at the board, you see different family words with gaps and the matching pictures to them. You should fill in the missing letters. Each team gets 4 family words. Start, please, your time is limited – 2 minutes.

Well, are you ready? Let`s check your answers. I see, that all of you completed the task with no mistakes, so you know the spelling of family words very good! Each team gets 4 points!
IV. Закрепление грамматических навыков употребления притяжательного падежа.
At this moment, let`s do another task: to do some practice in using the family words in sentences. Look at the board. You see the family tree. Fill in the blanks with the right family word. Each team gets 3 sentences.

At this moment, let`s play a game with the cards. Stand up, please, make a pair, and you`ll check if your partner knows a family word on your card properly. For example, what family word is for “dad`s sister”? Once you got the right word, it`s your turn to answer. Having finished checking with your partner, exchange the cards. And now, you should find another partner to do the same.

Now, please, could you open your books at page 28. We`ll do the reading task on the text “The Adams family”.
The Adams family lives in Scotland. They are a big family. They are nine: David Adams and his wife Linda, their son Max and their three daughters Linda's parents and David's cousin Tim. They all live together in a big house. Max is a pupil. His sisters don't go to school. They are little. In the evening Max often reads interesting books to his sisters and they like to listen to Max's books.
