Тема урока: Стихийные бедствия

Тип урока: Закрепление пройденного лексического материала

Цели урока: 1. Обучающая: Закрепить пройденную лексику в различных видах речевой деятельности

2. Развивающая: Развивать навыки говорения, догадки, а также памяти, внимания

3. Воспитывающая: Повышать интерес к изучению иностранного языка.

Оборудование: УМК «Spotlight», Ю. Е. Ваулина, Д.Дули. 8 класс; презентация по теме «Natural Disasters», раздаточный материал (карточки с заданием), проектор, компьютер, доска.

Ход урока

Организационный момент

1.1. Приветствие: Good morning, dear guests. Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you. How are you? What is the weather like today? What is your favourite type of the weather? Look at the screen. You can see a small tongue-twister about the weather.

I think that you are fine and ready for a successful work at the lesson. Today we are having an unusual lesson. Be attentive please! Look at the screen. What do you see?...... What do know about the onion?......(Учащиеся вставляют слова и переводят примету). It's people sign.

Onion skin is very thin, mild winter is coming in.

• Проверка класса: Who is on duty today? Who is absent today?

• The aim of the lesson (Постановка цели урока). What are we going to talk about? Yes, you are right. We are reading and speaking about Natural Disasters at the lesson. So, the Earth is a beautiful place to live on, but we live in the world which is full of danger. Are you agree with me? Every day we hear about disasters that happen on our planet. They damage houses, destroy fields, kill animals and people.

Now look at the screen. Your task is to guess the word and fill in the gap. Open your exercise books, take your pens. I give you 2 minutes. Fill in the gap and then someone will read and translate the whole sentence. OK?
