One can surely teach without technology and you won't be a worse teacher because of that but why not make the process of studying more appealing for pupils?
Today you will learn about three really great computer applications that you can use at the lesson as well as after the lessons.
The only minus is that you may need computers at the lesson, interactive board or maybe Smartphone, but if you have a lesson in the computer class once a week, as I have this year, it may work perfectly.

#1 is Quizlet. This program is mainly for vocabulary, but you can use sentences as well. It contains several categories at which you can train vocabulary:
learning the words
flashcards
writing skills
test
matching
game - gravitation
Here is a link to one of my quizlet test for Year IV students based on the book Brainy Quizlet test, Year IV.
See how it is easy for a teacher to make it.
2. #2 is Kahoot. It works very similar. You type in the questions, set the time for a question to be displayed on the board. It works exactly as in the picture. The question and the illustration are displayed on the board and pupils on their smartphones choose the answer. In the end you have the number of correct and wrong answers of every pupil as they sign in their names before starting. The only minus of this program is that you'll need an interractive board and a Smartphone for every pupil. In my school students aren't allowed to use phones during the school time, so I would need computers and an interactive board at once.
3. #3 is learningapps.org that’s absolutely marvelous as here you can make any dream test you want.
