TITLE: "Reflecting on read ..." (based on the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky's "Crime and punishment")

GRADE LEVEL/SUBJECT: 10, literature

The aims:

to summarize the students ' knowledge obtained from the study of the novel;

find out the secret of the immortal questions formed there in.

The course of the lesson.

1.The beginning of the lesson. Give a smile to each other.

2.The topic of the lesson: Today we are completing work on the novel of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment". We will summarize the knowledge gained in the study of the novel, to find out the secret of the immortal question formulated there. We will reflect on the book we have read.
Checking of the hometask.

We have got a question: «What is Truth?». Your hometask was to find sayings of famous artists, philosophers, writers about the truth.SINGLE ROUND ROBIN.

Today we will try to answer the questions with the help of the heroes of the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky's "Crime and punishment": Rodion Raskolnikov and Sonya Marmeladova, based on the text of the novel, in your personal experience.

III. Rodion Raskolnikov and Sonya Marmeladova. TALKING MAT.

Student 1 at each table takes the sheet of paper and writes down the topic of discussion. Table №1 - Sony Marmeladova. Table №2 - Rodion Raskolnikov.

Write down the words, phrases on the topic.

Teams analyze their work. Your task is to formulate conclusions, answer questions. Find confirmation in the text. Teams present their TALKING MAT each other.

IV. "Man is a mystery. It is necessary to solve, and if you solve all his life, then do not say that your time is lost; I have been thinking about this mystery, because I want to be a real man. " Think about what they are. What do they think about it? TIMED- ROUND -ROBIN.

V. Thinking device: Tug - Of –War. Each Student generates up to 3 reasons to support each viewpoint.

Teams walk around to look at other teams’ work.

Students come to conclusion: If the person, who committed the crime, tormented by conscience, if he repents, then he is worth of sympathy.
Everyone can make mistakes, but sympathy deserves only one who has realized his guilt
