План-конспект открытого занятия по английскому языку в 8 классе
Тема: “SEE NEW PLACES, MEET NEW FACES”
Цель занятия – создать условия для развития коммуникативной компетенции обучающихся.
Vocabulary: words related to towns/cities, transport, holidays
Reading: reading for detailed understanding of the text, reading for gist
Listening: listening for specific informaton
Speaking: describing a city, asking for information
Communication: making comments, making suggestions
Grammar: making comparisons
Writing Project: article describing a place
Задачи:
1. Образовательная: научиться читать тексты с извлечением детальной информации
2. Воспитательная: воспитание интереса к учению и познанию мира через путешествие
3. Развивающая: развитие критического мышления
Универсальные учебные действия (УУД):
личностные: формировать ответственное отношение к обучению, готовность к развитию и самообразованию; формировать коммуникативную компетенцию и устойчивую учебно-познавательную мотивацию; формировать уважительное отношение к культуре других народов;

Организационный этап (1 мин)
Teacher: Good morning dear students, guests and colleagues! I’m glad to see you at our lesson. How are you today? I hope everybody is OK. So, let’s start our work.
Этап мотивации учебной деятельности. Постановка цели и задач занятия (3 мин)
Teacher: I want you to look at some photos and suggest what we will talk about today. (Слайд-шоу, посвящённое теме путешествий). Обучающиеся высказывают свои предположения.
Teacher: Yes, you are absolutely right. Today we are going to talk about traveling round the world, so the theme of our lesson is “SEE NEW PLACES, MEET NEW FACES”
There is an English proverb about travelling “Travel broadens the mind”. What Russian proverb corresponds to it?
Suggested Answer: Путешествие расширяет кругозор.
Teacher: Can you prove that travel broadens the mind?

Teacher: Open your books at p. 82. Look at the pictures. They show views of Stratford-upon-Avon and LA. Match the adjective-noun collocations to these places, make sentences, as in the example, and tell us about these places.
