Цели:

обучающие:

• освоить во всех видах речевой деятельности новые лексические единицы по теме;

• учить вести разговор об экологических проблемах;

развивающие:

• развивать познавательные интересы за рамками урока и творческие способности учащихся;

• развивать коммуникативную компетентность через развитие умений строить повествование;

воспитательные:

• воспитывать экологическую культуру;

• воспитывать бережное отношение к природе.

Задачи урока: развитие умений делать сообщение по теме с опорой на иллюстрации.

Тип урока: обобщающий.

Оснащение урока: учебник «Spotlight 7», авторов В. Эванс, Д. Дули, Ю.Е. Ваулина, О.Е. Подоляко, CD-диск к учебнику, презентация.

Ход урока.

1. Начало урока.

Hello, pupils! Nice to see you! How are you? I hope you are fine today.

Today we’ll speak about one of the most important problems in our life – Environment and Ecology.

1. Объяснение темы урока.

You know that people all over the world are worried about what is happening to the environment.

They understand the Earth is their common home, a big green home.

What problems are where in the environment today do you think.

Pupil 1: Air pollution.

Pupil 2: Acid rain.

Pupil3: Water pollution.

Pupil 4: Soil pollution.

Teacher: You are right. Thank you.

1. Повторение и активация лексики по теме.

Let’s repeat some words from this topic and translate them (ex. 1 p. 76).

• a power station

• toxic fumes

• factory waste

• acid rain

• polluted clouds

• loss of natural habitats

• air, water and soil pollution

• fish and plant species dying

1. Проверка домашнего задания (рассказы детей об экологических проблемах).

Your home task was to tell me about some ecological problems. Are you ready?

• Misha, what acid rain is and what causes it?

• Julia, what its effects are?

• Olga, what do know, about water and soil pollution?

• Sasha, what governments are doing and what we can do?

Ученики используют текст на стр. 77, № 3, рассказывают о проблемах экологии.

1. “Earth day” - работа с презентацией.

Pupils, do you know that for centuries man had lived in harmony with nature until industrialization brought human society into conflict with the natural environment. The Earth is the only planet in the solar system where there is life. I would like to speak about the Earth Day now.

Teacher:

1. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 ^nd . (Слайд 1, 2)

2. The earth flag was designed in 1970 by John Mc Connell, an early leader in the international peace movement. (Слайд 3)

3. Gay Lord Anton Nelson was the principal founder of Earth Day. (Слайд 4)

4. Let’s read the earth day anthem. (Слайд 5)

5. Look at the picture and answer my question: What is the nature? (Слайд 6)

6. And now let’s remember some words, read and translate them, make some sentences with them. (Слайд 7)

7. Test (Слайд 8). Подбери соответствующий перевод пословиц. Составь предложение из слов. Выбери слово, которое не принадлежит группе.

8. Now we’ll read some poems about nature. (Слайд 9)

9. The question is: What shell we do to make our planet clean? (discussion) (Слайд 10) (Дети думают и отвечают на вопрос.)

Группируем ответы в единый рассказ. (Слайд 11)

1. The next task is a word search. You should find 22 words. (Слайд 12)

2. Try to make some slogans about the Earth as the conclusion of our lesson. (Слайд 13) (Дети придумывают лозунги.)

Our lesson is coming to an end. I hope everybody likes it and makes a decision to become a fighter or cleaning ecology in our city and helps the planet to survive.
