– Work in pairs! One of you is an interviewer and the other should ask interviewers questions! Make short dialogues!

2. Is there an attic in your house?

4. Is your house spacious enough?

5. Do you have all modern conveniences?

6. Do you think your home lacks charm and warmth?

–Make short dialogues! Think over questions to the following replies!

1) We have water supply, electricity, and cooling and heating, systems.

2) Modern, but not brand new. It was built in 1995.

3) No, I think it is very homey and has character.

4) Yes, we keep old suitcases there and there is a table for ping-pong.

5) Yes, the rooms are huge and the ceilings are quite high.

6) Yes, we keep instrument sand other stuff there.

– Compete in two teams. Name as many adjectives and nouns that can be used to describe a house or a flat as possible. Which team got the most?

– And now complete the chart with missing words! Which words are relate to a flat and a house? Explain why?

– Put the stress in the words in the chart!

–Hold a debate on the best place to live.

Work in 2 grops. One should be proposing the motion; the other should be opposing it.

a) Brainstorm the main points of your speech. Think of facts to support your ideas.

b) Choose a speaker for your group. The speaker should say what they are going to say; make 3 ponts about the motion; support each point with facts; say what they have said.
