Aims: 1. to develop pupils’ reading skills on the topic “The Olympic Games”

           2. to introduce the words on the topic “The Olympic Games”

           3. to practice pupils in using new words in expressing their own opinion on the topic 

              “The Olympic Games”

Objectives: by the end of the lesson pupils will be able:

                   1. to read the text for gist

                   2. to use the new words in expressing their own opinion on the topic                                                 

                      “The Olympic Games”

Tools: cards with texts, vocabulary; activity book; the theme of the lesson is on the blackboard.
