- Good afternoon, students! Nice to see you here. Are you OK today? Are you ready to start our lesson? Do you like travelling? Have you ever been abroad? How did you get there?

The topic of our lesson is “Planning a route”.

The aim of the lesson is to learn how to ask and answer the questions about a route, to plan a route. We are going to do different exercises and to plan your routes. I hope you will work well and everybody will get an excellent mark.

II. Речевая зарядка.

Look at the screen and let’s get acquainted with a new song. Repeat after me. And now let’s sing it together.

III. Тренировка лексических навыков

Match the questions and the answers.

Turn round and make the dialogues ex1b:

Look at the map. There are 2 routes there-the red one and the blue one. The red one goes from Britain to the USA, then from the USA to…. Help me, please.

Listen to the children and answer: which route are they going to take: red or blue.

Listen again. How are they going to travel?
