Задачи:

• активизировать изученную ранее тема­тическую лексику;

• мотивировать учащихся на дальнейшую работу по теме.

• организовать работу с заголовком Vanished! Уча­щиеся пытаются догадаться, что означает заголовок, при необходимости объяснить значение (disappeared).

• развитие языковой догадки.

• освоение конверсии как способа словообразования.

• развитие умения прогнозировать содержание художественного текста по ил­люстрациям; развитие умений ознакоми­тельного чтения.

Ход урока:

1. Приветствие .Оргмомент.

1. Проработайте слова a-j, объясните значение незнакомых слов. Учащиеся слушают аудиоза­пись и выполняют задание. Спросите, какие звуки издаются людьми. Проверьте ответы.

7. Письмо Writing

ВыполнениеУпр. 3, с. 20 развитие умений продуктивного письма — написание короткого рассказа (приключенческого, юмористического, де­тективного).

До начала выполнения задания проработать коллективно рамку Study Skills, посвящённую важности чёткой последовательности событий в повествовании. Поясните, что в начале работы над рассказом следует продумать сюжет (опре­делиться с главными героями и последователь­ностью событий).

Предполагаемый ответ:

It was a bright, spring morning and Elizabeth and her two best friends, Catherine and Becky, decided to go away for the weekend. After a while they got hungry, so they stopped to get something to eat. Becky and Elizabeth went into the shop while Catherine stayed outside. Suddenly Catherine saw a very big cat with blue eyes and wanted to see where it lived. She followed the cat and the door locked behind her.

When the two girls walked back to meet Catherine, they realized she was not there any­more. After a few minutes they both began to worry, as they couldn't see Catherine.

Then they heard a voice coming from a shed behind the shop. It was Catherine. She was inside just with the cat. After a few minutes of laughter and tears, the girls were back on the road and all was well.
