№ 9 Travelling

When it comes to speaking about travelling I’d like to remark that it’s one of the most pleasant aspects of our lives. So, let us consider why the majority of people enjoy travelling so much.

In my opinion there are several reasons why we opt for travelling again and again. Firstly, we can learn many interesting things about new countries, their customs and traditions, cuisine and the language. We are sure to broaden our horizon and understanding of the world. Secondly, travelling to natural sites gives us a lot of refreshment and energy to work or to study when our holidays are over.

As for the best season of travelling, it’s difficult to say for sure as tastes differ. Some people prefer winter because they enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the mountain resorts. Others want to change the season and find themselves in the tropical island while it’s winter in their own country. However, I believe that most of people choose summer as the best time for travelling .It is easier for parents as their children have holidays and not busy with school and the weather is more enjoyable.

From my point of view, the choice of transportation depends on people’s destination, financial conditions and personal preferences. Personally I prefer travelling by plane when I travel to far-away places as it’s the most convenient and fastest means of travelling. However, when I travel round my Motherland, my family opts for going by car because we can choose our own route and time to stop whenever and wherever we want. I also want to add that others who don’t have cars choose between coaches and trains depending on their preferences.

All in all, I believe that traveling is one of the best things in our lives as we can benefit a lot from it.
