Good morning ,dear guests, teachers and pupils. We are glad to be here. We are from gymnasia № 10. We study in the 9 th form. Our names are Anastasiya Sorokina and Margarita Pestryakova. Today we’d like to represent you our project:”Flowers in cartoons and movies”

Flowers are the beauty of nature. They have a lot of importance and value in our lives. Flowers make us happy! They are magical in cartoons and movies.

Beauty and the Beast Scarlet Flower

Have you watched the well known cartoons” Beauty and the Beast” and “Scarlet flower”? Are you looking forward to watching the film “Beauty and the Beast” in March 2017? I’m sure you are!

In the story the red rose is a symbol of love and unity of two young people.

The only thing Beauty wants her father to bring her is a rose and it is also the Beast’s favorite flower.

The next cartoon “Rainbow flower” is

also about a magic flower.

It can make any wish come true. All you have

to do is tear off a petal, throw it up in the air and say magic words.

Let’s remember a story about the little prince. He loves his rose and takes care of it. He says:

"There might be millions of roses in the whole world, but you are my only one, unique rose“.

The cartoon " Thumbelina" begins with the words : ”Once upon a time there was a woman who was sad because she had no children. One day she planted a magic seed and from the seed grew a flower . Inside the flower was a tiny girl no bigger than the woman's thumb. Her name was Thumbelina”.

Do you know the wonderful story “Stone flower ”?

The main character-

Danila, the skillful craftsman, is in search of the Power of beauty. He wants to see the Stone Flower , and understand the true beauty of stone.

The twelve months

The main character of this movie is a poor girl who was given an impossible task by her stepmother: to gather snowdrops in a winter forest.

To the girl’s surprise the month April returns spring back again for a short time and helps Nastya to pick up a whole basket of flowers.

We can’t but mention one of the best cartoons about flowers: “For no reason”.

It is a good cartoon about a kind boy who presented a bunch of flowers to a sad donkey just like that. It’s so nice to give and get flowers for no reason!

So, we hope that we have managed to show you the magical power of flowers in cartoons and movies.
