Keeping fit and going in for sports is also important for our health. Lack of exercise in our life is a serious problem. In big cities people spend hours sitting in front of computers, TV-sets and other gadgets. We walk less because we mainly use cars and public transport. We certainly don’t have to be professional sportsmen, but we should visit fitness clubs, go jogging, walk much, swim, go cycling or roller-skating or just dance.

Consuming a balanced diet plays a key role in maintaining long-term health. c) Overall Health: Eating a range of foods and limiting salt, sugars, and saturated fats is essential. This approach ensures optimal body function and overall well-being. d) Growth and Development: In children, a balanced diet supports healthy growth and academic performance. It also helps minimise the risk of infections. e) Energy and Performance: Proper nutrition ensures the body has enough fuel for daily activities. This helps maintain energy levels and overall performance.

Take supplements as needed Ask your doctor about taking supplements to get more nutrients. Taking dietary supplements is a good option when your diet isn’t giving you enough of the vitamins and nutrients you need to stay healthy. It’s definitely possible to get all the nutrients you need purely from the food you eat, but supplements are there to fill in the gaps. If you think you might benefit from taking supplements, consult with your doctor about which ones you should take.
