Порядковые числительные (какой по счёту?)

Порядковые числительные - очень отличительные.

Запомни правило такое.

Оно совсем-совсем простое:

Первый, третий и второй

Порядок признают лишь свой

one - (the) first

two - (the) second

three - (the) third

С четвертого по девятнадцатый

Порядок одинаковый -

К числам нужно th прибавить

И по порядку всех расставить:

four - (the) fourth

five - (the) fifth

six - (the) sixth

seven - (the) seventh

eight - (the) eighth

nine - (the) ninth

…

nineteen - (the) nineteenth

Двадцатый, тридцатый и хоть девяностый

Образовать тоже очень просто.

Поставь ie вместо буквы y

И всякий раз th добавляй.

twenty - (the) twentieth

Порядковые числительные

образуются прибавлением окончания

– th и артикля the , который относится к определяемому существительному:

nine – the nin th form

( девять – девятый класс )

four – the four th group

(четыре – четвёртая группа)
