Taj Mahal is one of Eight Wonders of the World

It is situated in Agra, India

• It was built in the 17 th century.
• It was built on the bank of the river Jamna
• Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal as a monument to his undying love for his wife.
• It is the symbol of eternal love

• Taj Mahal is made of white marble and precious stones
• The colour of the palace changes during the day: it is white in the day light,
• pink in the evening and
• Silver at night

The Taj Mahal consist of

• 4 minarets

• a pool and a garden in front of it
