• To exit stage left – уйти по-английски, по-тихому;
• A drama queen – кто-либо, кто часто устраивает скандалы, споры из-за чего угодно; истеричка; Full house – аншлаг
• A ham – плохой актер

Theatres

In our country there are a lot of theatres: big and small, new and old, famous and not very well known.

The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow is among the most famous theatres in the world. Wonderful operas and ballets are staged in this theatre.

The conclusion:

• Nowadays children entertain themselves by listening to music, watching TV programmes, films and videos, going to concerts and circus shows but the theatre is still among their favourite entertainments.
• Most of them like going to the theatre. Their vocabulary is enriched, they become more active and emotionally rich.

Theater has always been, is and will be very necessary for people.
