The Golden Ring -

is wide world

Russia is a vast and diverse country. It is endless source of amazing impressions for lovers of travel. The Golden Ring is one of the most popular tourist routes for Russians and guests.

The Golden Ring is a group of ancient Russian towns and cities that form circle that begins and ends in Moscow. The Golden Ring of Russia includes such cites as Vladimir, Suzdal, Kostroma, Yaroslavl, Rostov the Great, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Sergiev Posad. A tour of the Golden Ring gives opportunity to learn about Russia’s culture and traditions. Every town has its own history.

Many people believe that the best way to travel around the ring is in an anticlockwise direction. If you take this classical route, these towns and cities you would see in this order .

was founded by Prince Vladimir Monomach in 1108 and became the capital of North-Eastern Russia in 12 th century. It is situated on the Klyazma river. It is famous for its beautiful architecture .
