State literary-memorial and natural Museum-reserve of A. S. Pushkin "Boldin" in the Nizhny Novgorod region opened in 1949 F. Krasko. Today it consists of memorial estate in Bolshoe Boldino, Luchinni grove manor and son of the poet A. Pushkin in the Livovka. Boldino - Pushkin family estate since the end of the SIXTEENTH century. Here in 1830, the poet has experienced unprecedented creative flight - the so-called "Boldino autumn". The estate has been preserved manor house and manor Park of the NINETEENTH century. The house is a literary-memorial exposition "Pushkin in Boldino". Since 1969 in Boldino Pushkin held the scientific conference "Boldino readings". Since 2003, the Museum began to conduct the regional conference "Under the sign of Pushkin". In 1973 Boldin was included in the annual route of the all-Union Pushkin poetry festival.

he monument to A. S. Pushkin is in the state Museum-reserve "Boldino", located in the village of Bolshoe Boldino, Nizhny Novgorod region. It was installed at the reserve in 1979, in honor of the 180-th anniversary of the birth of the poet.  Mention of the village of Bolshoe Boldino Dating from the middle of XVI century - at that time it belonged to the generation of the Pushkins. At the time the village was owned by the grandfather of the poet, who built here a stone Church of the Dormition, and then his father. This place was declared a sanctuary in 1918. The monument is made of white marble and is mounted on a massive stone pedestal and the total height of the monument is 4 meters. From the sculpture emanates dynamics, the poet is depicted at the moment when he persistently moving forward, but it prevents a strong wind, the floors opened his coat and, probably symbolizing that the fate of the genius of Russian literature has not been simple and often encountered resistance in its path.

The Museum of Pushkin's fairy tales is situated in the Nizhny Novgorod region, on the territory of the Pushkin Museum-estate of Boldino. It is here that the poet had written most of his famous tales, including "the Tale of the Golden Cockerel", "Tale of the fisherman and the fish" and "the tale of the dead Princess and seven knights". The first work by Pushkin, written for children, became "the tale of the priest and his workman Balda", written in the first autumn of the poet's stay at the estate. The Museum is located in the house, restored using old photographs and drawings of the burnt outbuildings, which served as the dwelling place of Boldin priest. The decision to open the Museum for children was made due to the fact that the younger generation is the vast number of visitors to the house. The exposition of the Museum includes puppets, book editions of Pushkin's fairy tales, paintings and other objects related to the creative heritage of the great poet. After Boldino Museum-like exhibition were opened also in other cultural institutions related to preserving the work of Alexander Pushkin

September 19, 2009 in the days of "Boldino readings" in the Park of Museum-reserve near the humpback bridge on the Bank of the pond there is a new sculptural composition dedicated to a young Alexander Pushkin and Arina Rodionovna, the nanny, is made by the Moscow sculptor Yekaterina Debetowa. Inauguration of the monument was timed to the 60th anniversary of the Museum. The initiator of the monument was a satirist, playwright, member of the Union of writers of Russia, M. N. Zadornov. He said that the idea to erect a monument in boldine filed his colleague L. M. Izmailov due to the fact that it was in Boldino Pushkin had written a most fairy tales: Arina resting on the shore of the pond Boldin with Sasha and tells him stories
