Description of the city: The river Thames flows across London. It is a navigable river, which flows into the North Sea. London area is about 1580 square meters. It is an interesting fact that the city is located on the prime meridian, which is often called Greenwich. London is one of the world's leading financial centres. In 2012, London became the first city to host the modern Summer Olympic Games three times.

In 2012, Renzo Piano, an Italian architect, transformed the architectural appearance of London with an unusual and surprisingly beautiful structure that became the capital's tallest tower. The height of the skyscraper from the ground is 244 m.
