В презентации представлена география и история появления лимериков - шуточных стишков, правила их написания. Мои ученики попробовали сами переводить и сочинять лимерики, стараясь следовать правилам их написания и находя рифмы. В конце презентации дается задание на проверку внимания по изложенному материалу.

The Earl of Derby asked Edward Lear to do some coloured paintings of the Earl’s collection of parrots. As well as parrots, the Earl had a lot of grandchildren, and Edward Lear had to draw them too.  To keep children amused he started writing his limericks. He drew a little sketch to go with each poem, The Earl of Derby's grandchildren thought these were great fun and when
