- I have studied some articles on the subject.
- Moreover, I have conducted a survey among the representatives of my age-group and compared how people spend their leisure time in Russia and Great Britain, using the computer program "survio".
- I have analyzed the results of my research.
- Also I have drawn a conclusion about the reasons for leisure activities in different countries in the interactive way.
What is leisure?
Leisure is a period of time spent out of work and domestic activity, when you can forget about day-to-day stress and stressful activities and relax.
Watching TV is by far the most popular leisure activity in Great Britain, but British also read more newspapers and books.

The vast majority of Russian pupils spend more than 3 hours a day doing their homework, while British children spend only half an hour.
60 % of Russian people eat together every day, 30 percent eat together once or twice a week, and only 10 percent have supper with their families once a month or less.
81 % of people in Russia, read books and newspapers, like in Great Britain.
The majority of pensioners in Russia are really into physical activities.
Russian teenagers spend less than 30 minutes doing sports. As for British, they spend 75 minutes.
