ТЕМА:        HOBBY

МЕТА:

освітня: систематизувати вивчений матеріал з теми: «Хобі»; повторити лексику теми; удосконалювати мовні навички учнів: аудіювання, читання, мовлення та письмо ;

розвиваюча: розвивати  логічне мислення учнів, їх інтелектуальні та пізнавальні здібності: пам'ять, увагу, уяву; уміння працювати в парах;

виховна: стимулювати пізнавальний інтерес до вивчення англійської мови; виховувати толерантне і доброзичливе ставлення один до одного; сприяти формуванню в учнів таких якостей, як активність, працездатність.

Тип  уроку:  узагальнення  та  систематизація  знань.

Обладнання:  мультимедійна презентація (Microsoft Power Point); картки з текстами для роботи в парах; анаграми, малюнки з теми « Хобі».

PROSEDURE

I. GREETING

• Good afternoon, children! How are you today?
• What day is it today? What date?
• What month is it now? What season? Do you like spring?
• What the weather like today?

II. AID

Т: Look at the slide and you can see the aim of our lesson. At the end of the lesson we will turn to it and analyse our work.

III. WARM-UP

Т: Listen to the poem.

    I like…

I like to read.

I like to play.

I like to study every day

I like to sing.

I like to run.

You know, it is fun.

Solving anagrams

Т: Look at the slide. Here you see some words, but the letters in them are mixed. Put them in the right order to have a proper word.

(К разгаданным словам ребята подбирают картинки и вешают их рядом с соответствующими словами (на столе карточки с изображением)).

IV. MAIN PART

1. Making up a dialogue

Т: Work in pairs. Talk about things you like doing in your free time. Make up a dialogue according to the example:

• What do you like doing in your free time?
• I like reading and listening to music. And what about you?

     2. Reading

Т:  Read three texts about hobbies. You can see the pictures and the names of these hobbies on the board. Be attentive, there are 3 texts but 4 pictures.

Text 1

Different people like different things, different people have different hobbies.

I go in for sport. I like to play volleyball. I go to play volleyball every day. Sport is very important part of our life. Many people go in for sport, they swimming, play volleyball, play basketball, play football. Physical Training is important subject in school.

Text 2

Different people like different things, different people have different hobbies. For example, collecting stamps is popular with people of all ages. It’s easy, interesting and funny. You begin to learn many interesting facts about history, famous people, animals, flowers and sport when you start to collect stamps.

I like reading books. I’m lucky. We’ve got a big library at home. I like to read about sports and sportsmen. My sister likes to read about animals. She has got books with funny stories about them. I gave her a present yesterday: a very big interesting book about animals at the zoo. There are lot of funny stories in it.

   3. Relaxation

Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Let’s pretend it’s summer. You are lying on a sandy beach. The weather is fine. A light wind is blowing from the sea. The birds are singing. You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet. Your brain relaxes. There is calm in your body. Nothing diverts your attention. You are relaxing. (Pause) Your troubles float away. You love your relatives, your school, and your friends. They love you too. Learn to appreciate every good thing. The Earth is full of wonders. You can do anything. You are sure of yourself, that you have much energy. You are in good spirits. Open your eyes. How do you feel?

2) Project Work  “Our Hobbies”

Т: Some pupils of our class prepared interesting information about their hobbies.

1. My name is Alex. I am 11. My hobby is sport. I like boxing. I go in for this sport 5 months. My favourite boxer is Vitaliy Klichko.
2.  My name is Roma. I am 12. My hobby is sport. I play football. My favourite football team is Shahtar. My favourite football player is Messy.
3. My name is Sergey. I am 12. My hobby is computer. I like playing computer games. My favourite game is “Need for Speed”. I want to be a good programmer in future.
4. My name isVika. I am 13. My hobby is sport. I like playing basketball. Sport is very good and useful for us. It makes us fit and healthy.
5. My name is Lera. I am 12. I play the violin. My favourite composer is Ackley. I’d like to be a very famous musician.
6. My name is Dasha. I am 12. My hobby is painting. I started painting when I was 9. I’d like to be a very famous artist. Look at my pictures.
7. My name is Ira. I am 11. My hobby is dancing. I take part in different concerts. I’d like to be a professional dancer. My hobby is also embroidery. This is my work.
8. My name is Karina. I am 12. My hobbies are swimming and crocheting. I also like pets. I have got a rat. It’s name Mike.

Т: Whose hobby do you think is the best? You know there is a proverb “Tastes differ”. Translate it into Russian.

3) Riddle

We have friends,

They cannot walk, and cannot see,

With these friends we sail on ships, and ride on trains

And even fly in airplanes.

These friends show us towns, seas and lands,

Can you guess who these good friends?

   4) Writing

Т: On the slide you can see 12 hobbies. Your task – you’ve got 1 minute to look and remember, then write them down on your sheet of paper.
