Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American director, writer, and actor.

World famous following the film “Pulp fiction” (1994), which earned him the "Palme d'or" at the Cannes film festival and the award "Oscar" and "Golden globe" for best screenplay.

His works also include “Reservoir dogs” (1992), “Jackie Brown” (1997), “Kill bill” (in two parts, 2003-2004), “Death Proof” (2007), "Inglourious Basterds" (2009), "Django Unchained" (2012) and “The Hateful eight" (2015). For the screenplay for "Django Unchained” was again awarded the “Oscar” and “Golden globe”.

Childhood

He was in high school at Narbonne in Harbor city. Tarantino didn't like what he studied in private, pay private Christian school, so he began to skip class. In 15 years, with the forced consent of the mother he left school with the condition that he will find work. Mother wanted him to understand that life without education is not a continuous celebration.

The plans to complete the Director's career

July 12, 2016 Director in an interview with Variety said that it would take only two pictures and then retire. According to him, during his career he was planning to shoot 10 films, 8 of which are already finished, and therefore there are only two.

The films that Tarantino creates, can be love or the spirit can not endure, but to forget them just will not work. They are unusual, original and are on the thin line between genius and bad taste. Movies Tarantino is not intended for children, and an adult audience not previously familiar with the extraordinary creativity of the Director, they are able to shock is not a joke.

Quentin has never been married and has no children.

One of the best friends Tarantino — Director Robert Rodriguez. They collaborated in many projects. Of the most notable are "From dusk till dawn" (the script was written by Tarantino and directed the film Rodriguez).

Close friends Tarantino also calls the singer Madonna and Uma Thurman, whom he often prayed to the status of their Muses.

My opinion

In my opinion, Quentin Tarantino is a brilliant Director. He's not afraid to show his opinion in his films. it deserves respect. I like his quote:” I write movies about drifters, people who spit on the rules, and I don't like movies about people who kill vagrants.”
