Цель проектной работы:

• Анализ появления и функционирования британских двухэтажных автобусов – даблдекеров.

Задачи:

• Изучить историю появления данного автобуса;
• Оценить уникальность «Рутмастера»;
• Изучить этапы усовершенствования автобусов;
• Определить преимущества и недостатки даблдекеров.

London buses are very fast and convenient way to get around the city. It is the symbol of London.

Double-decker buses are very famous. There are also open-top double-decker buses which are a very good for seeing London sight.

London Red Bus is a Doble-decker bus. They are very popular in London .

A single bus fare costs £ 1.50. You can pay this fare by using an Oyster card. To pay for your bus fare simply touch your Oyster card on the yellow card reader as use you board the bus. Children under the age of 11 travel free on buses and trams.

On all buses, there is room from one person using a wheelchair. Wheelchair users priority over everyone else for use of the wheelchair spare.

The history of the London double-decker bus, double-Decker started in 1847 when the London transport company started operations in a two-story omnibuses- horse-drawn carriages Shuttle with an open second floor.

"Rootmaster" became a symbol of London. The reason for popularity there are several, but chief among them is the unique design, the"Rootmaster" didn't have no doors, and the entrance-exit through the open rear platform .
