English language project ‘The day I was born’

The aim of the project is

to find out what the day of our birth was famous for in the world history

Tasks

1. To ask parents about my birth.

2.To find out:

- what feelings my parents had at the time of my birth;

- who of well-known people was born that day;

- what the year 2005 (two thousand and five) was famous for;

- what movies were released and what books were written

We were born in spring of 2005. The weather was wonderful. It was sunny and warm. Nature was happy that we were born

• I was born on the fifth of May in two thousand and five at seventeen minutes past 5.
• The birth of a daughter was expected in our family. My parents were very happy when they found out that they would have a daughter and I was born.

• I was born on the third of May in two thousand and five at nineteen minutes past 7.

• Our family waited for the boy’s birth, but I was born. For my father it was a big surprise, but in spite of it he was very happy.
