winter

Winter Months are December, January and February.

It is usually cold and snowy in winter. Everything is white.

When it is warm Children make snowmen and play snowballs in winter.

All people celebrate many holidays in winter, such as new year, Christmas, st. valentine s day.

Symbols of new year are santa claus or granpa frost and Christmas tree.

In new year eve grandpa frost gives presents to children.

SPRING

Spring months are Marh, April and May.

The sun shines brightly. The days become longer and the nights shorter. Birds come back home. In March it is usually cold but in April and May the weather is pleasant with a warm nice breeze blowing and a few white clouds in the blue sky.

The 8^th of March is in spring.

All men give beautiful flowers and tasty sweets to their women.

SUMMER

Summer is the hottest season. The sun is bright and hot in the blue sky. There are a lot of beautiful flowers, green grass and trees everywhere. The birds sing their songs and the air is full of freshness.

There’s no need to stay at home or to put on lots of clothes. We can spend time outdoors, walk and play, sunbathe and swim in the sea or in the river.

AUTUMN

The “Golden Autumn” is really beautiful with its yellow, red and brown trees and golden leaves falling down.

It is time to go to the forest and gather nuts and mushrooms. Autumn is а «tasty» season, the season of fruit and vegetables.

The days in November are usually grey, rainy, snowy and cold. They become shorter and the nights longer.

Good afternoon. Our names are …. . we want to tell you about our project. It is called – seasons guide. During our English lesson we told about seasons and weather . we decided to give a descriptions of each seasons and make a calendar. (перевод)

(…)Добрый день. Наши имена…. Мы хотим рассказать вам о нашем проекте, который называется «путеводитель по сезонам». На уроках английского языка мы говорили о временах года и погоде и решили дать описание каждого сезона и создать календарь.

(….)Есть четыре сезона в году - зима, весна, лето и осень . И , мы думаем, каждый сезон по своему прекрасен.

(….) Зима - самое холодное временя года . Зимние месяцы - декабрь , январь и февраль . Это волшебное время, когда ты словно ощущаешься в сказке благодаря снега, который падает на деревья и дома.

Цель проекта – создание календаря с описанием времен года на английском языке.

Проблема – совершенствование навыков говорения, практическое применения английского языка.

There are four seasons in a year - winter, spring, summer and autumn. And, we think, every season has a charm of its own.

WINTER
Winter is the coldest season of the year. Winter months are December, January and February.  It is magical time where you can find yourself in charming fairytale due to the snow on the trees and buildings. Beautiful snowflakes fly in the air quietly laying down on the streets, people and nature. Kids have fun playing snowballs. Their cheeks are red on the frost . They enjoy making snowmen and playing snowballs. The joy and happiness are on their faces. Streets look like frozen picture from the Christmas postcard. Everything is white and sparkling. The days are shorter and the nights are longer.

Winter is a very beautiful season and many people like it. For example, in winter they can go skating, skiing , playing hockey and other winter games.

The weather is warm and pleasant,. The birds return from the hot countries and build their nests. Nature begins to awake. The trees become greener. The greenery is fresh and young in the streets, in the parks and in the yards. Sun shines brightly . Then everything begin to blossom, flowers are everywhere. We can hear the birds singing and smell the sweet aroma of blooming trees.

In spring we celebrate some holidays. It is the 8th of March - the women’s day. On such day we give flowers and presents to women we love- our moms, grannies, sisters, friends.

 On the 9th of May it’s the great day for our country. We celebrate the Victory Day. Many years ago the World War II was over. We honor the veterans and bring flowers to the monuments of those who gave their lives for our peaceful future.

SUMMER
After spring there comes summer. This season makes everybody so happy! The weather is mostly fine and sky is clear and blue. Summer months are June, July and August. The pupils have summer holidays so they do not go to school. Summer is the best season of the year for the students too.

In summer there is the longest day and the shortest night in the year on the 21st-22nd of June. July is the middle month of summer. It is hot and sun shines brightly. August is the last summer month. Sometimes it is cold in August, but there are many mushrooms, berries and fruits. All of us enjoy bright flowers, fruits that summer brings.

There’s no need to stay at home or to put on lots of clothes. We can spend time outdoors, walk and play, sunbathe and swim in the sea or in the river.

AUTUMN

September, October and November are autumn months. The weather is very changeable in this season. Sometimes the weather in autumn is bad. There are a lot of rainy days. So, the roads are dirty. When it is warm everybody tries to spend more time out of doors.

Сентябрь, октябрь и ноябрь – осенние месяцы. Погода в это время очень изменчива. Иногда она очень плохая. Очень много дождливых дней. Дороги грязные. Когда на улице тепло, каждый старается провести больше времени на свежем воздухе.

Осень – очень красивое время года. Мы можем видеть желтые, красные, коричневые листья повсюду. Это пора, когда ходят в лес за грибами и орехами. Осень – «вкусное» время года, пора овощей и фруктов.

Теплые дни ранней осени называют «золотой осенью». «Золотая осень» на самом деле прекрасна ,когда разноцветные золотые листья падают с деревьев.

Студенты и школьники начинают учебу.

Трудно сказать, какой сезон лучше,

Но мы должны быть благодарны

Любой погоде.
