Phonetic Exercise

Good morning to everyone! You may take your seats. What date is it today? Who is absent?

Kids, last year I was in one of the most beautiful cities in Russia, in St. Petersburg. Have you ever been there? Which Russian cities have you visited? Which of you were abroad and where?

Let’s remember some cities we’ve already learnt.

You are given a list of cities and places, let’s read them together. If you visited them, tell us about it.

Children answer: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you, good morning, good morning we are glad to see you.

II. Practice

Thank you, kids. But I know some children who visited practically all these places. Let’s meet them together.

Please, open your books at p. 3. Ex.1. We will listen to the tape where children will tell you about places they visited last summer. Remember their names and places then link.

III. The stage of performance

Now, let’s read some more information about interesting Russian Places below the first task.

Listen to the tape and repeat after announcer.

Now, let’s say what the English schoolchildren could see and visit in Moscow. Task 5.

Well, your work is perfect today, and now I want you to tell me about your travelling. Please remember the most interesting places. Write me in a few sentences about it.
