The theme: Travelling in Russia and abroad.

The goals of the lesson:

Educational – to activate students’ aural comprehension and speaking skills, introduce new words, some geographical names and sightseeing in Russia and abroad.

Education of spirit – to develop respectable attitude to your classmates and their opinion, to broaden the horizon1s through introducing into a new field of interests.

Education as development – to develop logical thinking, memory, intellectual and communicative competence.

Phonetic Exercise

Good morning to everyone! You may take your seats. What date is it today? Who is absent?

Kids, last year I was in one of the most beautiful cities in Russia, in St. Petersburg. Have you ever been there? Which Russian cities have you visited? Which of you were abroad and where?





Let’s remember some cities we’ve already learnt.

You are given a list of cities and places, let’s read them together. If you visited them, tell us about it.

Children answer: Good morning, good morning, good morning to you, good morning, good morning we are glad to see you.
