Greetings: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Nice to see all of you. Please, take your sits.

Warming-up: Before we start our lesson, I would like you answer my questions:

  1. Do you like watching films?
  2. How often do you watch films?
  3. What kind of films do you like most of all?

Aims: Ok, what do you think, what is the topic of our lesson? Look at the blackboard and try to guess… Yes, you are right. It’s kind of films. So, Today we are talking about films, kinds of films, your likes and dislikes. Well, let’s start.

Speaking tasks:

Before talking your likes and dislikes let’s revise what kinds of films do you know. Look at  the blackboard, please.

Good, now I would like you say me about your likes and dislikes.

  1. What’s your favourite kind of film?
  2. What kind of film do you dislike?

Minute for relax:

I think you are a bit tired. So, relax and work at the same time. Each of you has got a paper. You should walk along the class and ask your classmates, your teacher and our guests about their favourite kind of film and about the kind of film they dislike. You have 2 minutes for this task. Let’s start.

…. Ok, now We should make top list of the most and the least favourite kinds of films. Let’s choose two persons for this. … OK… at the end of the lesson you will read us the tops.

Listening task:

And now let’s listen to the dialog. It is in your books at page 83. You’ll listen to Mike, Liz and Elfin talking about TV. After listening you should answer the questions.

  1. What do the children like watching?
  2. What don’t they like watching and why?

But, before listening, let’s revise some words:

Interesting – интересный

Boring – скучный

For girls – для девочек

For boys – для мальчиков

Cool – хорошо (классно)

Super – супер

Great – великолепно

  5. Peppa Pig, Tom and Jerry, Masha and a bear are …
