Цели и задачи урока:

Обучающие: - освоить во всех видах речевой деятельности лексические единицы по теме «Экология».

Развивающие: - развивать навыки коммуникативной компетенции; - развивать мотивацию в изучении английского языка.

Воспитательные: - воспитывать бережное отношение к окружающей среде; - воспитывать любовь к своему городу, краю, стране.

План урока:

Ввод нового лексического материала по теме «Экология». Работа с текстом.

Просмотр видеофильма.

Закрепление материала. Игры.

Викторина.

Ход урока:

Какие ассоциации у вас вызывает фраза: «Наша планета в опасности!(Our planet is in danger!)

Учащиеся работают с учебником, смотрят на картинки и говорят о своих ассоциациях.

2. Ввод новой лексики урока: environment, acid rain, air pollution, factory waste, harm, pollute, rainforest, emit, toxic fumes, poison, solar power, extinct, habitat.

3. Работа с текстом “Acid Rain”(обсуждение).

4. Подготовка к просмотру фильма “Dear Future Generations: Sorry”

5. Закрепление лексического материала. Игровая деятельность.

a) Игра Bingo - учащимся необходимо расчертить лист на 12 одинаковых квадратов. В них они будут вписывать слова, изученные на уроке.

На доске выписываю слова: adventure, pollution, journey, recycling, fashion, acid rain, poison, factory waste, exhibition, extinct, toxic fumes, harm, freckle, environment, atmosphere, fossil fuels, lawyer, queen, habitat.

Задание для учащихся выписать только слова по теме «Экология». Кто выполняет, кричит Bingo, проверяем все вместе. Выигрывают те, кто выписал 12 правильных слов быстрее остальных.

Викторина. Класс делится на 2 команды. Каждая команда получает по 10 одинаковых вопросов, основанных на 3 презентациях. Идет обсуждение. Побеждает команда, давшая больше правильных ответов на вопросы.
