Пояснительная записка

Предлагается урок в 7 гимназическом классе по теме «Экскурсия по Минску». Это один из обобщающих уроков в разделе «Путешествия по разным странам».

В процессе подготовки к уроку были изучены программные требования, проанализирован предусмотренный программой учебный материал, содержательная база учебника, требования к санитарно-гигиеническому режиму и условия проведения урока. Предложенный урок является уроком развития умений говорения на основе информации, полученной в процессе чтения, согласно данной цели отбиралось его содержание.

В соответствии с концепцией учебного предмета «Иностранный язык» на уроке планируется использовать коммуникативно-когнитивный личностно-ориентированный подход. Все задания имеют коммуникативную направленность. Учитывалось, что у учащихся есть собственный опыт по предлагаемой ситуации общения, а также ранее полученные знания, на которые можно опираться в процессе урока. Работа в парах и группах предполагается как средство развития умений работать в команде, увеличения, времени использования учащимися устной речи, активности учащихся. Использование презентации Power Point, google-презентаций, интернета, компьютера и мультимедийного проектора как средства, способствующего формированию коммуникативной компетенции, а также нацелено на повышение мотивации учащихся к изучению иностранного языка.

План урока по теме: Экскурсия по Минску

Класс: 7

Практическая цель: формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся по изучаемой теме

Ожидаемый результат: планируется, что к концу урока учащиеся будут способны составить и описать тематический экскурсионный маршрут по Минску для друга из Австралии.

Образовательная задача: активизировать языковой материал по теме «Путешествие по разным странам», «Жизнь в городе» в устной речи учащихся, употребление определенного артикля с названиями городских объектов, грамматической структуры условных предложений первого типа в устной речи.

Развивающая задача: создать условия для развития лексико-грамматических навыков уч-ся, навыков поискового чтения, говорения, на основе прочитанного текста и собственного опыта; развития умения работать в малых группах, парах, умения использовать полученную информацию из текстов и презентации; развития умений работы с компьютером; внимательности, памяти, способствовать развитию умений планировать свое коммуникативное поведение.

Воспитательная задача: способствовать воспитанию чувства гордости за культурное наследие своей страны, гостеприимства, умения планировать экскурсию для зарубежного друга в Беларуси на определенную тему.

Цель на языке учащихся: к концу урока мы сможем составить и описать тематический экскурсионный маршрут по Минску для друга из Австралии.

Оборудование: компьютерный класс, доступ к сети Интернет, установка мультимедиа, презентация-сопровождение, раздаточный материал, конверт с письмом из Австралии.

Ход урока

1. Введение в тему урока и определение целей

T: Hello, children! Glad to see you!

Ch: Good morning, teacher! Glad to see you too!

T: Who’s on duty today? Tell me what’s the date it’s today and who’s absent?

T: Oh! I’ve got a surprise for you today! Can you guess what’s this?

Ch:Have you got a…?

T: I’ve got a letter from Australia for you! Look! Who can help me to read it?

Children read the letter aloud.

T: Great! So what should we do at our lesson today? What’s our aim?

Ch: We should make an interesting tour around Minsk for Mike. (Cлайд 1)

T: Fine! And let me introduce the steps to reach it: (on the blackboard)

1. Revise Minsk sights

2. Train grammar structures: if-clause sentences, articles with landmarks

3. Get more information with the help of reading

4. Make some special tours around Minsk.

T: It’s time to revise what we remember about these Minsk sights. Let’s go to the computers in pairs and make puzzles on jigsawpuzzle.com. And when you are ready you should tell me what’s this and what you will see if you go there.

T: Each sight in Minsk is unique and has its own history. Now take the texts on your desks, look through the descriptions of the famous places of interest in Minsk and match them with the photos. There no photos to some descriptions. While working with the texts be attentive to the names of Minsk landmarks and the prompts (or key words) in the descriptions. Work in pairs now to do it quicker.

T: Let’s relax. Close your eyes listen to beautiful music and imagine yourselves travelling around our beautiful country. Now open your eyes and share your happiness with each other. Smile everybody!

T: Good! And now it’s time to check your memory better. Don’t be afraid! It will be just a quiz. You’ll do the quiz all together. Look at the screen!

T: So we’ve come up to our main task. Now we’ll try to make a special tour for Mike. I think you’re ready. You’ll work in 3 groups. Each group will get the topic of the tour and help box (См. приложение 2). (с помощью цветных карточек разбиваются на группы)

T: Well, let’s go to 3 computers. Your task is to open the presentation Minsk Landmark on the desktop and make your own tour, deleting and rearranging the slides in it. Choose someone who will work with the mouse, someone who will search the information in the text and someone who will write the speech for your presentation using the help box I’ll give you. In ten minutes you should represent your tour to us. Try to speak, not read the speech.

Работа в группах. Учащиеся составляют список достопримечательностей по своей тематике, разрабатывают виртульный маршрут, используя информацию из текста и шаблонов-презентации (все шаблоны одинаковые, но у каждой группы – своя тема маршрута). (См. приложение 3)

Minsk Landmarks

1. It’s the granite monument in the form of pyramid. This shape is a symbol of wisdom (мудрость) and eternity (бессмертие). It shows the distance to the regional centers of Belarus and to the capitals of nearby countries.

2. It is the most modern Minsk landmark and one of the most unique libraries ever created. It is in the form of diamond. It’s in Independence Square. There’s a bronze sculpture of Skoryna in front of it.

3. It is a famous city landmark in the form of stone bridge leading to the island with a special monument. It’s situated on the Svisloch river. The monument is in memory of the Afghanistan soldiers. One important element of the memorial is the figure of a crying angel.

4. It is situated in Melnikaite Street and is dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust. At this very place in 1942 the Nazis killed about 5,000 prisoners of the Minsk ghetto. The obelisk was built in 1947 and a bronze sculpture "The Last Way" in 2000.

5. It is in Independence Square. It was built in 1905 in memory of Minsk landlord’s children who died in their young age. It’s made only from red bricks

6. In the middle of the square there is a monument of Victory. The monument is decorated with figures of heroes of Great Patriotic War. There’s an eternal fire in front of it.

7. It’s the oldest place in Minsk. There are a lot of old houses, cafes, small shops and museums there.

8. It’s all children's favourite place. There is a big wheel, a merry-go-round and other rides there

9. It’s situated next to Gorky park. There you can see acrobats and clowns, lions and tigers, bears and horses.

10. It is situated in the south-east part of Minsk on the riverbank Svisloch. At present, the collection of animals is about 186 species. And it also has a dolphinarium with great shows for people.

11. The new building of this landmark is more than 3,000 square meters big. It has ten exhibition halls and more than 8,000 exhibits telling about how the things were during the war and after the victory. The museum offers you general and thematic tours, individual consultations, access (доступ) to the museum materials.

12. Today it has an area of 153 hectares. There are plants from all around the world here. You can see not only unusual exotic species, but also plants typical for Belarus. In addition, it has special rooms for butterflies.

13. It’s administrative building in the Central part of Minsk, on a High Market, built in 1600.The town hall tower had clocks that was of great value for that time.
