Тема: Моя будущая профессия «My Ticket to Future» (мой билет в будущее). Учебник Spotlight 4, урок 4b.
Цели и задачи: Повторение и обобщение изученного материала по теме, закрепление навыков и умений в режиме аудирования, чтения, говорения, письма, воспитание интереса к будущей профессии, формирование устойчивого интереса к дальнейшему изучению английского языка.
Ход урока:
Приветствие (2 мин)
-Good morning children, I’m glad to see you. How are you?
-We are glad to see you too, we are fine.
-Sit down please.
2. Введение в тему урока. Речевая разминка (6 мин)
-Look at the board please, let’s read and translate “My Ticket to Future”. Please, write it in your notebooks. Today we’ll speak, read and write about professions. What do you think? How many professions are there in the world? One hundred, one thousand, one million?
Дети выбирают нужный ответ.
-The right answer is 2 million. And in your life you choose only one – your favorite!!!
3. Повторение названий профессий в чтении и письме. (7 мин)
-Let’s play “Scrabble”. It is a very popular game. (На доске прикреплены карточки с буквами, из которых надо составить названия профессий.)
-Look at these cards and guess what professions they are. Open your books at page 33 ex. 4. This ex. will help you. Write the names of professions in your notebooks: teacher, nurse, doctor, baker, mechanic, vet, bus-driver, police officer, firefighter, greengrocer, zookeeper.
Дети прописывают слова, обозначающие профессии на доске и в тетрадях.
4. Развитие навыков аудирования и говорения. Let’s talk about these professions. Учитель задает вопросы, дети отвечают. (5 мин)
Where does a teacher work? – at school.
What does he do? – He teaches children.
Does he have to be patient? – Very!
Where does a baker work? – At the baker’s.
What does he do? – He makes bread.
Where does a mechanic work? – At a garage.
What does he do? – He fixes cars.
And who works at the zoo? – A zookeeper. He looks after animals.
Who drives people at the city? – A bus-driver and the taxi-driver.
And we forgot about the postman. He/she takes letters, postcards, parcels to people’s houses.

5. Повторение названий других профессий (с расширением, по интересам учащихся и черт характера, необходимых для этих профессий) (7 мин)
I tell you the words in Russian and you answer in English. Please look at find.
Дети смотрят на карточки на доске с новыми словами, учитель называет профессии, многие из которых звучат похоже на русском языке.
The list of professions:
Pilot, coach, dentist, computer programmer, builder, constructer, shop assistant, lawyer, designer, painter, stage manager, hairdresser, stewardess, cook, surgeon, military man, banker, scientist, astronaut (cosmonaut)
And of course, traits of character these people need:
They have to be clever, brave, friendly, polite, kind, patient, creative, accurate, hardworking.
6. Беглое чтение с непосредственным пониманием (5 мин)
Open your books page 77, let’s read about what Russian children want to be.
Читаем, сопоставляем с именами детей.
7. Развитие диалогической речи (7 мин)
And now let’s see what children in you class want to be.
Turn to each other and ask: “What do you want to be? Why?”
Дети разговаривают друг с другом. Учитель ходит между рядами и слушает. Несколько пар учащихся выходят к доске и проговаривают свои диалоги.
What do you want to be?
I want to be a pilot, because I like airplanes.
What do you want to be?
I want to be a stage manager, because I like to shoot films.
What do you want to be?
We want to be policemen, we like to help people in difficult situations.
Masha and Varya want to be coaches in dancing. They want to show us how they dance.
