Цель мероприятия: овладеть структурами и разговорными фразами общения по теме «Save our Earth together», развить навыки письма, повторить правила Present Simple and Present Progressive Tenses
Задачи мероприятия:
Обучающие:
- научиться понимать на слух разговорную речь с извлечением нужной информации; -освоить в речи тематическую лексику;
-научиться пользоваться разговорными клеше в диалогической речи;
- развивать умения, составляющие лингвистическую компетенцию: использование синонимов, развитие языковой догадки;
- развивать компенсаторную и социокультурную компетенции.
Развивающие:
- развивать коммуникативные универсальные учебные действия через виды речевой деятельности, в том числе умение взаимодействия при работе в парах, умение планировать своё речевое и неречевое поведение;
- развитие исследовательских учебнных действий, включая навыки работы с информацией, её обработки и предоставления;
- развивать регулятивные УУД, а именно : умение целеполагания, планирования, самонаблюдения, самоконтроля и самооценки;
- развивать умения ознакомительного и поискового чтения.
Воспитательные: - мотивировать к изучению иностранного языка; - способствовать осознанию возможностей самореализации средствами иностранного языка;
- воспитывать культуру поведения через освоение норм этике.
Планируемые результаты: Освоение тематической лексики; развитие навыков письма и говорения, освоение правил Present Simple and Present Progressive Tenses

1. Организационный момент
Good afternoon! I’m glad to see you! How are you today? Today we’re talking about one of the most important problems in our life – environment and ecology.
Do you know what does the word “Ecology” mean? How old is the Earth?
Did you know that people all over the world are worried about what is happening to the environment. They understand that the Earth is their common home, a big green home. What problems are there in the environment today, do you think?
2. Введение новой лексики
Now, boys and girls, look at the blackboard for some new words. Listen to me at first and then repeat.

Acid rain
1. The problem. The problem starts here. Cars burn petrol, factories and power stations burn coal and emit toxic fumes. So, the air that we breathe becomes polluted.
2. The air pollution and acid rain. This pollution is gathered in clouds and with the oxygen and water in the atmosphere it becomes acid. The winds carry the polluted clouds across long distances, far away. When it rains, this pollution lands on trees, houses, buildings, cars, clothes, everywhere!!! This is called acid rain, but there is actually ‘acid fog’, ‘snow’ and ‘sleet’ in the same way!
3. Water and soil pollution. When acid rain falls into lakes, streams, rivers and seas, they become toxic. This is water pollution and it harms, kills or wipes out fish and plant species. When acid rain flows through the soil, it poisons trees and plants. Acid rain also causes serious damage to important buildings and objects.
4. Good news. The good news is that governments ( правительство, власти) have been trying to reduce the air pollution that causes acid rain. Some industries have been using new technologies for some time to help make factory smoke less harmful. But we need to do more! We can help reduce the amount of acid rain by using our cars less or by using solar power to heat our homes.

-You see, that our planet has many environment problems. And you can’t solve them alone, but you can do some things to help. Now you know that the future is in your hands.
-Well, it is time to finish our lesson. It was a great pleasure to discuss ecological problems with you. We have learned many new words on the topic. We read a text and did some exercises.
