The Past Simple Land
Цели: создать условия для систематизации изученного материала и проверки уровня достижения учащихся.
Задачи по содержанию:
1. Образовательная: совершенствовать речевые навыки учащихся по теме “Простое прошедшее время”.
2. Развивающая: развивать иноязычные способности учащихся, познавательный интерес, мышление, языковую догадку, внимание.
3. Воспитательная: воспитание интереса к знаниям, культуре умственного труда. Воспитание умения учиться, способностисти к самоорганизации.
Тип урока: комплексное применение знаний и умений
Методы: объяснительно-иллюстративный, репродуктивный, частично-поисковый.
Формы организации познавательной деятельности: групповая, индивидуальная.
Средства обучения:
1. Учебник “Starlight” под редакцией Вирджиниа Эванс, К. Барановой и В. Копыловой;
2. Презентация для интерактивной доски.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент.
- Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Sit down, please. Let's begin our lesson. You can see today we have an unusual lesson. Today we will continue to talk about “yesterday”, “last week”, “last month” and “last year”. Today we are going to travel to “The Past Simple Land”. The topic of our lesson is: “Do you want to visit The past Simple Land?” We are going to visit 4 stations in this land. The train is leaving. Good voyage!
2. So, we start our travelling. And the first station is “Regular verbs” (Фонетическая зарядка)
Let’s revise how we pronounce the ending - ed. Look at the blackboard, please. You should read the verbs and choose the right sound. (5 min)
3. The second station is “What did you do…..? ” (Речевая зарядка). So, children, yesterday I watched an interesting film about “Knights and Castles”. It’s interesting to know what did you do……? (yesterday, last week, last month, last year).
4. Now it’s time to visit the station of the Queen of Grammar. (Активизация изученного материала по теме «Past Simple”). The next task for you is to choose the right answer. Look at the board. (3 min)
Now, please, match the two columns. Make up word combinations. You should this task in written form. Open your workbooks. Write down the date and do this task. You have 5 minutes. Let’s check (7 min)
4. Физкультминутка. Now let’s have a rest. Stand up, please! Let’s do exercises. Ok. Thank you. Let’s continue our work.
5. Now let’s visit our Mr. Word’s station and learn some new words. Look at the pictures, repeat the words after me, look at their spelling and try to remember them. (Ознакомление с новыми лексическими единицами )
Travel, machine, fence, guard, fight, motorbike.
T: Write down these words (7 мин). Open your books at page 50 ex.1. You should listen to the speaker and point to the pictures (2 мин) DVD).
T: Now, please find 10 words.
6. It’s time to sing. Look at the picture and answer my question, please: What are they doing?
P: They are fencing.
Let’s sing a song (5 мин). (DVD)
And now Mr. Word wants to check your memory. Let’s play a little. Close your books, you should complete the sing.
7. At last it’s time to visit our last station. The station of Mrs. Mistake”. There are some mistakes in the picture. Find these mistakes. You should ask and answer questions in order to correct the mistakes which you find in the picture. Use the example from ex.3 page 50. You have 5 minutes to do this task (8 мин)

T: Children it’s time to complete the letter from ex.4 page 51. Let’s listen and check up your answers.
8. Подведение итогов
