Complaints (Vocabulary):
Moldy (cheese, lemon, bread… * The taste is strange (weird)
Rotten (tomatoes, cucumbers, apples…. *The smell is awful
Spoiled (milk, cottage cheese, fish) *There is a fly in my soup
Stale (bread, biscuits … *There is a hair in my food
Sprouted (potatoes… *To heat smth up
Expired (yogurt, sour cream) *It’s on the house
Rancid (butter, oil, rice , flour, nuts….. *The glass (fork, knife) is dirty
Wilted (flowers , dill, parsley… ) *We are short-staffed
Bland = no taste * It’s overfried (overboiled, oversalted)
It’s underfried ( boiled, …) * to do apologise /apologies (apology)
